What is 1100 in military time?
1100 is 11:00 AM on the 12-hour clock, and 11:00 on the civilian 24-hour clock. It is spoken aloud as “eleven hundred hours” — never “11 o'clock”, and never with a colon in the written form.
The hour is under 12, so nothing is subtracted. 11 stays 11, and the time is AM.
Written down it is four digits with no separator and no AM or PM: 1100. The first two digits are the hour, the last two are the minutes, and the minutes are ordinary minutes — 1145 would be 11:45 AM.

1100 is 11 hours into the day and 13 hours from the next midnight. In the watch system it falls in the forenoon watch, the main working morning.
