How 1 hour from now is calculated
Put the current time on the 24-hour clock, add 1, then subtract 24 for every full day you have crossed. That single subtraction is the entire difficulty: 22:00 plus 1 hours is 23:00 on paper, and 23:00 same day in reality.
In 12-hour time the wrap is invisible, because the digits reset twice a day. An answer of 5:00 tells you nothing on its own — 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM are twelve hours apart, and both are plausible. That is why the clock above prints AM or PM and the calendar date, rather than leaving you to guess.
